Merry Christmas! Some news....

I meant to post this earlier, but I discounted the prices on all three MP3-CDs for the holiday season. So if you need a last minute gift, consider some Stinging Rain MP3s. (Of course, you can get us on iTunes also, but not discounted....)

We continue to keep friend of the band, David Bailey, in our prayers. David survived brain cancer surgery again, and is recovering. Keep up with the news about David here.

Lastly, I signed the band up for a page on amaze.fm & put a few tunes out there, so maybe we'll get some new fans.

Merry Christmas & Happy 2009 from the band!

From the PF I guess you are Paul? I ran across this blog while on my occasional hunt for the Face of Stephen CD (I'm not converted to MP3's yet). While here I thought I would let you know that I have faithfully listened to my other two CDs routinely for the last what, fifteen years? Shadows of Reality is probably the best collection of songs on one album that I own. I discovered SR by accident at Cargnegie Mellon's Spring Carnival in '91 (no, I'm not smart enough to go there, I just went to the carnival) I was in a huge "dismal" part of my life and your music uplifted me and carried me through many days. Thank you SO much! Your music really did make a difference. Now if I can find Face of Stephen for a reasonable price (I saw the e-bay auction too, at that time it was $90 starting bid...)

Michele, yes, I'm Paul the erstwhile SR bass player. Glad you found us and will be able to check out Face of Stephen. We think it's our best, but so happy to hear you liked Shadows so much and lifted you up.

Howdy Paul and the band!

I just found and downloaded all three of your CDs from amiestreet.com, and I am DEEPLY impressed by you guys. I'm going to do my best to talk y'all up on amiestreet, facebook, and anywhere else I can think to do so.

I hate that I'm late to the game, but I look forward to rocking your stuff for many years to come.

God bless,
